I recently had the opportunity to put together an album with an amazing group of internet musicians from an on-line studio called Kompoz. Can you imagine the co-ordination involved in dealing with 29 musicians from the U.S.A., Canada, U.K. Sweden, France, Spain, Italy and the Bahamas to meet a dealine of 28 days. Yes, 28 days! And I am proud to say that we did it. Our new album is called Kompozite. A mix of rock songs that will get you dancing and swaying and feeling your sorrow. The album consists of eleven songs with eight written by "yours truly".

In February 2009, our group met daily to kompoz and mix and write and organize our ideas to produce an album of 11 rock songs (or 35 minutes worth of listening) in the month of February for the RPM challenge.

Just what exactly is the RPM challenge? RPM is an international challenge organized by "Wire Magazine" and devoted to motivating musicians to create an album every February to kickstart their creative processes for the year. Over 665 bands worldwide actually completed their albums involving over 2,000 artists. The scope of new music ranged from '60s style R&B instrumentals to rock and gangsta, electronica, punk and even A Capella. Participants were a mixture of new artists, popular local musicians and guys and gals just getting together who used to jam together on weekends.

What you don't hear about too often though, is a group of highly talented "Internet" musicians collaborating on-line to produce albums. Several of our songs have already been aired on various internet radio sites and have been given "kudos" from many interested fans.

I am now putting it on podcast for your listening enjoyment.

This is a song I wrote and offered it up for internet collaboration. It was picked up by an amazing vocalist from South Africa, Yolande Strauss and a musician from the USA Adam Kirby.

This song was selected by an international jury and charted No. 2 on Kickradio for May 2009. It currently stands at song No. 7 on the top 40 charts.

This song was selected out of 200 bands to be on The Best of Indie Pop compilation by a netlabel, LegalTorrents.

This song was selected for an indie compilation on Musicians Collaboration of rock-pop songs to be released the summer of 2009 and will be available on itunes.
